Day 1: Diani / Mombasa to Tsavo west national park

Your driver/guide will pick you up at your resort/hotel/lodge in Diani Beach early in the morning in a private land-cruiser. Then drive to Tsavo West national park on a Mombasa- Nairobi highway famously known as the Explorer’s Route. Along the way you will enjoy views of the sun as it breaks.
On arrival to Tsavo West, you will be welcomed rolling green hills of the park. Tsavo West national park is a home to abundance of wildlife including the endangered but protected rhinos found in Ngulia Rhino sanctuary. You will have lunch at the lodge on arrival and embark on an afternoon game drive seeing many animals such as rhinos, elephants, gazelles, wildebeests, among others. In the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tsavo West national park to Amboseli national park

On the second day of your safari, you are to have a morning game drive and then transfer to Amboseli National Park, after breakfast at your lodge you will set off for an early morning game drive in the plains of Tsavo West national park. You will have a chance to spot many animals such as lions, elephants, wildebeests, zebras and many birds, after visiting numerous regions of the park you will head back to your lodge, pack your stuff and embark on a 2-hour drive to Amboseli national park. On arrival and after a rest, in the evening you will go for an evening game drive in search for predators, such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, spotted hyenas and many more. You will later on head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full day Amboseli

You will spend the full day exploring the game reserve. Its sparse vegetation makes for a great opportunity to spot some of Africa’s most celebrated animals.
Keep your eyes out for lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and wildebeest, not to mention a myriad of bird life. An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled for the late afternoon when animals are at their most active.
Weather permitting, the Mount Kilimanjaro will sheath of the clouds and the sights of the snowcapped peaks will be awesome. In the evening you will return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Amboseli national park to Tsavo east national park

On the fourth day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive for an early morning game drive in the plains of Amboseli on which you will see many animals similar to those you saw on the previous game drive, then you will exit the park and head for Tsavo east national park. Amboseli national park to Tsavo east national park is a drive of 6 -7 hours.  You will have lunch en-route and an evening game drive before proceeding to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and stay overnight. On this game drive you will see many animals’ most especially nocturnal animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs with the help of a spotlight.

Day 5: Tsavo east National park to Diani via Mombasa

Breakfast is followed by a checkout from your lodge.
As you leave the park, get your last glimpses of the great African beasts before a relaxed drive back to the Diani with some stops on the way.
