Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi city tour

On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by our safari driver guide and transfer to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your time of arrival, you will visit some of the wildlife destinations in Nairobi city such as the Giraffe Center and David Sheldrick wildlife Trust or stay and relax at the pool at the hotel as you prepare for tomorrow’s adventure. Have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru

You will be up early having breakfast at your accommodation and then to the famous lake Nakuru, for a flamingo and birding spree; you will spend most of your morning exploring these pink creatures and other numerous birds that make their life on the lake. You will also see several water animals as you enjoy the Lake’s ambience. The game drive will end in the late afternoon and afterwards you will head back to your accommodation to refresh, relax and later have dinner and night rest.

Day 2: Nakuru national park to Masai Mara national reserve

Wake up early in the morning and have a short morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Return to Camp/Lodge for breakfast and checkout and depart to Masai Mara National Reserve which is about 6.5 hours’ drive. Upon reaching Mara, check in at your hotel, have dinner and relax for the day.

Day 3: Masai Mara National reserve full day

You can either have a relaxed breakfast then depart for full day game drives around 9:00 AM with packed lunch and return back to lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM or you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness hunt/kill). Later return to accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit and depart on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. You will stop at a picnic spot for having packed lunch and later depart on a game drive till the park is closed and onwards return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Masai Mara- Lake Naivasha national park

Have breakfast and head to Lake Naivasha for a day of adventure, explore Lake Naivasha on boat and also visit the Crescent island sanctuary found in the middle of Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake found in the Rift valley chain and it is the highest of the Rift Valley lakes, this lake is a birder’s haven hosting over 400 bird species with large number of flamingos. Other birds include great cormorants, long tailed, fish eagles, kingfishers among others. In the evening you will head back to your lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Naivasha to Amboseli national park

After breakfast at your lodge in Naivasha, you will check out and have an en-route game drive as you drive out of the national park as you continue your journey to Amboseli National Park. You will have an en-route game drive as you proceed to your lodge for check in and to have lunch. You will have another game drive viewing experience in the evening to see more wildlife and bird species as well as other attractions in Amboseli National Park. After your evening game drive, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: Amboseli-Tsavo West National Park

Early morning game drives in search for what we missed out the previous game drives. Most animals are always much active when the weather is cold and this gives us more chances to see most of them especially the big cat family, return to lodge for breakfast.
Leave Amboseli for Tsavo west, do a game drive en-route Mzima Springs where you can see hippos and fish in a crystalline clear water. There are possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys too. Later drive to your lodge for check in and have lunch as you relax for the day, dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7: Tsavo West National Park full day

A full day of exploring Tsavo west national park will start with breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your morning game drive to see the wildlife species which are very active in the morning as they hunt, graze and roam in the national park plains. You will also visit Ngulia rhino sanctuary to see the endangered rhino species and after this experience, you will return in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 8: Tsavo west national park full day

On this day, you will visit other attractions in Tsavo west national park such as the Mzima springs where you will see hippos as well as crocodiles and monkeys in the trees. You will be driven back to your lodge as you look out for more wildlife and bird species in the savannah of the national park and watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 9: Tsavo west national park to Tsavo East national park

Breakfast will be served and after breakfast, you will check out of your lodge as you have an en-route game drive and will see different wildlife species along the way as you proceed to Tsavo East national park to engage in other wildlife viewing experiences. Lunch will be served at your lodge and thereafter have another wildlife viewing experience after some rest at your lodge. During this game drive; you will visit different attractions around the national park such as River Galana, the Yatta plateau among others as you look out for wildlife species. You will be driven back to your lodge after your evening game drive and you will be served your dinner and stay overnight.

Day 10: Tsavo east to Mombasa Beaches (Beach)

After breakfast depart for Mombasa beach. After arriving in picturesque Mombasa, known as Kenya’ white and blue city, you will have a chance to relax as you enjoy an African beach experience.

Day 11-13: Mombasa Beach (Beach)

You will spend the day enjoying the sunshine and the warm Indian Ocean at a beach resort on the coast of East Africa. Mombasa is the second biggest city in Kenya and boasts the largest port on the East African coastline.
Relax on the sandy beaches and take a dip in the sea, taking it easy after our action-packed game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife areas. You can also enjoy optional (extra cost) activities and water sports in and around Mombasa, a chaotic melting pot of Indian, Arabic and African influences.

Day 14: End of safari outbound departure

You will have your breakfast before checking out of your beach resort/hotel in Mombasa and then proceed to drive through to Nairobi where your guide will drop you off at your preferred location which will mark the end of your safari.
